Chicago, IL’s BLIND EQUATION has today announced headline Midwest, US tour dates set to take place in July, with support from Bejalvin and CPU Buddha. The headline tour precedes the cybergrind band’s upcoming support shows with Seeyouspacecowboy and The Callous Daoboys in New York and Massachusetts in August – full dates and details below.
Of the tour announcement, BLIND EQUATION‘s James McHenry comments: “I am so excited to be finally doing a proper BLIND EQUATION headlining tour with some of my favorite artists in the current cybergrind & digital hardcore wave. I chose a bunch of my favorite cities to play across the midwest, including many that we haven’t played since the release of DEATH AWAITS. I’m very excited to be bringing a tour like this to so many places, I don’t think tours like these happen very often so it’s truly a blessing and I am excited to perform for you all!”
Having become a staple name in the burgeoning modern cybergrind scene, BLIND EQUATION has seen sole songwriter James McHenry nurture his talents for the better part of a decade in the form of various split releases, EPs and full-lengths Life Is Pain and 2023’s DEATH AWAITS. Abandoning genre confines, McHenry’s unique amalgam of grind, hardcore, extreme metal, chiptune and electronics has come to define BLIND EQUATION’s sound.
