FLORIDA – INHUMAN CONDITION raises the flag for Florida Death Metal high with “The Betterment Plan,” the uncompromising third single from their forthcoming third album, Mind Trap. Brutal and decisive, the song delivers thrillingly defiant resistance against fakes and snakes.
“It’s one of my favorite songs on this record,” proclaims vocalist/drummer Jeramie Kling. “It’s aggressive and intense, with lyrical content that has very personal meaning for me. We all stand up to bullies from time to time. This song is an anthem against those who pretend to be friends.”
Comprised of a trio of extreme music veterans boasting a jaw-dropping list of legendary bands on their collective resume – including Obituary, Death, and Deicide – Inhuman Condition has built a catalog of classic death metal brutality infused with modern mayhem since forming in 2020.
There is no more critical geographic location in death metal history than Tampa, Florida, and all three members of Inhuman Condition were part of the trailblazing Massacre at different points. (Inhuman Condition, of course, was the name of the classic 1992 Massacre EP on Earache.)
Inhuman Condition’s blend of death metal groove and vicious thrash was unleashed upon the world with Rat God in 2021, via the band’s own Listenable Insanity Records. The following summer saw the release of their sophomore slab, Fearsick, followed by 2023’s Panic Prayer EP.
“Severely Lifeless” offered the first taste of Mind Trap earlier this year. “Face for Later” followed last month. Mind Trap is due June 27th on Listenable Insanity Records.
The cover artwork, which depicts the trio trapped and murdered, was once again created by Dan “Babe Ruth” Goldsworthy (Cradle Of Filth, Accept, Gloryhammer).

The band’s upcoming album, Mind Trap, mixed by Jeramie Kling and mastered by Taylor Nordberg at Smoke & Mirrors Productions in Spring Hill, Florida, drops June 27, 2025.
Inhuman Condition unites on this third full length release brandishing their brutal tunes, and this time around expect nothing less than next level and in your face, sludgy thrash metal as Jeramie Kling (Overkill), Taylor Nordberg (Deicide) and Terry Butler (Obituary) flaunt their metal mastery
