Today (March 7th), Colorado’s brutal deathcore denizens Crown Magnetar have unleashed their new EP, Punishment, via Unique Leader Records. Once again helmed by producer-turned-bassist Mike Sahm, this record continues the band’s release-a-year streak after 2024’s re-mixed and re-mastered The Prophet of Disgust EP. Since their debut, Crown Magnetar have amassed a fan base around the world, delivering chugging deathcore brutality across a handful of releases, while sharing stages with the likes of Lorna Shore, Dying Fetus, Suicide Silence, Born of Osiris, Carnifex, Spite, Enterprise Earth and more. With Punishment, they are once again out for blood—and buckets of it.
