NECROT will be touring in support of their critically lauded Lifeless Birth full-length, released earlier this year via Tankcrimes. The record earned the #3 spot on Billboard’s Top New Artist chart upon its first week of release. Elsewhere, the record took the #4 position on the Current Hard Music Albums chart, #6 on the Independent Record Label chart, and more.

With Lifeless BirthNECROT continues their ascent to the forefront of American aural extremity, pushing the boundaries of style and continuing to recast metal in their image. Founded by bassist/vocalist Luca Indrio and drummer Chad Gailey in 2011 with guitarist Sonny Reinhardt joining the following year, the Oakland, California trio offers Lifeless Birth as a culmination of their to-date efforts to encapsulate and push forward the deathly stylings of 2020’s Mortal and their 2017 debut, Blood Offerings.

Recorded with Grammy-winning producer Greg Wilkinson — who has helmed all three NECROT albums — and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, Lifeless Birth pivots fluidly between technical intricacy, progressive poise, and all-out brutality.

“Their sound is built on a sturdy foundation of formative influences – the punkish lurch of Autopsy, the mutant thrash of Possessed, the razor-edged erudition of Death. But after three albums of steady refinement, they’ve found their own corner to dominate.” – Decibel Magazine

“…these three men are operating on a higher level of death metal dexterity, and “Lifeless Birth” is a near-flawless expression of their militant brilliance.” – Blabbermouth

“… definitely a contender for death metal album of the year.” – MetalSucks

NECROT is one of the most-hyped death bands of the last 10 years, and this album gives you a good idea why.” – Metal Injection

“The trio move from one immaculate bulldozing to the next, the riffs in constant motion as evil lurks and hope is inevitably swallowed whole by death and despair.” – Post Trash Album Of The Week

“The highly anticipated LP breathes new life into NECROT’s sound, working hard to push the boundaries of what metal can be, and succeeding in every way.” – New Noise Magazine
