East Tennessee stoner doom quartet WyndRider will hit the road this June for a run across the USA and Canada, marking their first international appearances, including a stop at Rhune Mountain Fest in Ontario. Since forming in 2022, the band has played extensively throughout the US, and their critically acclaimed second LP, Revival (released June 2024 via Electric Valley Records), has given them the momentum to take things to the next level.
“We are very excited for the tour and to take WyndRider outside the U.S. for the first time,” states the band. “Thank you to everyone who has played a part in getting us to this point. We can’t wait to tear some shit up, so come and see us where you can.”

Formed in 2022, WyndRider is a four-piece, stoner doom band from the mountains of East Tennessee. Their eponymous debut album, recorded in late September by Danielle Fehr of The Wizard Productions, was released independently in March of 2023. The album earned WyndRider critical acclaim and even AOTY nods from global heavy music media.
In February 2024, the quartet hit the studio once again with The Wizard Productions to record their second full-length. Titled Revival, this sophomore effort is a sharpened knife, showcasing the refined sound of the band. After playing all over the Eastern US, the group returned to their home in the Appalachian Mountains, focusing in on the hopes and horrors of living there with an unapologetically heavy Southern groove. This album, washed in the blood of its region, sheds light on the smoke and mirrors of life in the Bible Belt and provides a fix for those left craving more after the first dose that WyndRider brought to the scene. “We wanted to write about what’s real to us: fear, addiction, manipulation, and how the Church controls all of it,” the band elaborates.
Revival was met with widespread praise from both fans and media, earning coverage from the likes of Decibel, Metal Hammer (Germany), The Obelisk, Bandcamp Daily, Doomed & Stoned, Distorted Sound, Outlaws of the Sun, Desert Psychlist, and Metal Devastation Radio, while again securing a spot among Doom Charts’ Top Albums of 2024.
Hailed as “one of the hardest working bands in the stoner doom community,” WyndRider has appeared at Maryland Doom Fest, Gravitoyd Doom Fest in Houston, Ohio Doomed & Stoned, Seismic Summer Fest in Charlotte, FuzzFest WV, and Holler of Doom II, III, and IV in Kentucky, all while extensively touring throughout the Eastern half of the US.
Electric Valley Records issued Revival on five variants of vinyl (all of which are sold out except the Solid Orange version). ORDER vinyl/merch from the label’s WEBSTORE or BANDCAMP. USA/North American customers can also order through Glory or Death Records.
The band handles the CD edition directly, with ORDERS available HERE on Bandcamp. (The band still has a limited number of all vinyl variants in stock.)
